Adoption Hour Update

We will be switching our adoption hours on Thursdays in 2026. We will now be open for adoption hours each Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our goal is to have more adoptions and walk-ins throughout the week and increase our weekly adoption numbers. Thank you!

  • Thursday 5:00-8:00 PM
  • Friday 1:00-4:00 PM
  • Saturday 1:00-4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

HSFC Trivia Night: Saturday, January 24, 2026

The Humane Society of Fulton County is hosting their annual trivia night at the Elk’s Lodge in Canton, IL! Get your family and friends together to fill a table (10 people max per table) and come out for a fun night! This fundraiser will go directly to the dogs and cats in our care! Email Stacey Helle at stacey.helle@humanesocietyfc.org to book your team and table! Payment, cash or card, will be due the night of the event at the door. We can’t wait to see you all there; be ready to answer those questions to win!

Pet Café Adoption Event

Parlin-Ingersoll Public Library is hosting us, The Humane Society of Fulton County, for another pet adoption event! Let’s see if our cats and dogs can find a forever home before the holidays! Submit an application, come meet our adoptable pets, enjoy a coffee and treat, and take your new best friend home! This event is open to the public, we cant wait to see you all there!
