Welcome to the Humane Society of Fulton County in Canton, Illinois. We are a volunteer-run organization that provides shelter and medical attention to homeless cats and dogs in Fulton County. All of our animals receive age appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered and are micro chipped.

Announcements

  • Low Cost Spay/Neuter Update

Effective September 16, 2021, the Animal Protective League in Springfield will be halting their spay and neuter clinics due to a staff shortage. Once clinics are running again, we will let everyone know. If you have an upcoming appointment, you will be contacted by one of our coordinators. This impacts the public as well as many shelters/rescues (ours included) who used these services to spay/neuter their animals prior to adoption. We understand it’s an inconvenience but ask for patience and kindness with this situation.

  • Reduced Cat/Kitten Adoption Fees – Limited time only

We are at catpacity! 🐈 New models arriving daily! To reduce the amount of cats/kittens looking for home we’ve temporarily reduced our adoption fee to $30 per cat or take a pair home for $50 your new friend enjoys company! Reduced fees are until the end of September!

  • Low Cost Spay/Neuter

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are temporarily no longer taking appointments for our low cost spay neuter program. We will let everyone know once we start taking appointments again! Thank you!
