Adoptions

Our Requirements To Adopt

  • You and everyone in the household have discussed and are prepared (physically, emotionally, and financially) for the addition of a companion animal into your lives and home.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to adopt an animal from our facility.
  • You must have permission from your landlord and all applicable deposits must be paid before we will approve your application.
  • You must have permission from your parents if you live at home before we will approve your application.
  • You must provide a veterinarian reference if you have other animals or have had previous animals.
  • All your animals must be up-to-date on vaccinations.
  • A “meet and greet” is required if you adopt a dog and already have another dog.

We are a volunteer organization and we strive to approve applications quickly. Typically we approve or deny applications within 2-3 business days.

WE DO NOT DO HOLDS. APPLICATIONS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
